Session #1
Monday, Jan. 22 = full practice test (4pm - 8:45pm)
Wednesday, Jan. 24 = Math and Science breakout sessions (4pm - 7pm)
Tuesday, Jan. 30 = English and Reading breakout sessions (4pm - 7pm)
Thursday, Feb. 1 = mini break-out sessions (4pm - 7:15)
Session #2
Monday, Feb. 12 = full practice test (4pm - 8:45pm)
Wednesday, Feb. 14 = = Math and Science breakout sessions (4pm - 7pm)
Tuesday, Feb. 20 = English and Reading breakout sessions (4pm - 7pm)
Thursday, Feb. 22 = mini break-out sessions (4pm - 7:15)
Monday's class will run via Zoom from 4pm - 8:45pm. Students will connect to the Zoom room from home and complete the full ACT practice test under the same standardized conditions as the real test. Students will get their ACT score by the end of the class.
Wednesday (in person Math & Science break out sessions) = 4pm-7pm
Tuesday (in person English & Reading break out sessions) = 4pm-7pm
Thursday (in person specialized mini sessions for all subtests) = 4pm - 7:15
On Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, students will take a series of workshops that focus on teaching and practicing test taking strategies and learning content area skills that are assessed on the ACT.
There are only a total of 150 seats for juniors to participate in this class. Our junior class has 520 students. Therefore, if your plans change and your student will not be attending the class after all, please contact Felicia Torres in advance, so that someone on the waitlist can take your student's spot.
*Attendance is mandatory for all four days, so please remind your students to ask off from their jobs in advance.
*Seating is limited and on a first-come, first-serve basis.
*REGISTRATION FOR THE BOTH CLASSES OPENS ON MONDAY, NOV. 13 AND ENDS AT 11:59PM ON FRIDAY, DEC. 1, 2023.
